Welcome to Phoenix of the Sun.

Please read our Recruitment Instructions, Guild Codex & Raid Codex before registering on the forums. Remember a well written application can bring you a long way and please let us know who you are as a person; it's you not your ability we want.

PotS is a mature and friendly guild with the emphasis on maintaining a guild with a family feel, where members are respectful of one another. We only accept members who are 15 years of age or older. We are more interested in recruiting the person behind the character than the character itself. PotS aims to offer our members the chance of experiencing all aspects of WoW and with this in mind we are interested in recruiting members who share this interest. We are not just interested in endgame raiding and as a result if this is your sole purpose in joining us then I’d suggest approaching a more endgame orientated guild.

Post It's just a job, but someone's gotta do it.

Hey all.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up..... Sorry, wrong speech.
Never have so much been owed by so many to so few..... No? Not that one either? (Actually, that would sort of work...)

*ahem* I want to start by thanking Sepharus for his sterling work keeping this guild running for the past five years. Many moos from all of us! :)

Now, in the process of taking over as Keeper of the Cookie Jar, I've been asked what I want to change in the guild.
Before answering that, I must point out the fact that I am at my most basic, a grumpy old man. And like most grumpy old men, I hate change. PotS has always worked well the way it has been, so I feel no need to change anything important. (Except maybe make the raids drop more loot. ;) ).
I hope to have time to re-start the achievement runs, and there might be slightly more bacon. :)

Thank you all for the vote of confidence you all have given me as I don the shackle....uhm.....garbs of guild leader.
I hope I can live up to your expectations.

Post Website maintenance

A gnome forgot to deselect a setting that automatically updates the website.
As a result the theme needs fixing.
I will ask our team of Murlocs to start with this procedure as soon as they finished their lunch: gnome-with-cheese sandwich.
